Examination WorkshopAfter the didactic session, we will demonstrate physical
examination techniques that need to be mastered for the Step 2 CS examination. You will
have the opportunity to actively participate in this very important session before
attending the mock examination session of our course.
Mock Examination Cases
The highlight of our course is your chance to practice the
examination on carefully trained simulated patients (SPs) under real exam-like conditions.
This session is essential for assessing and improving communication skills. We will give
you feedback based on the SP assessment, your clinical note and our impressions on
multiple different aspects of your performance. You will see 8-10 most common examination
like cases. Please note that this is NOT A GROUP
discussion on a single patient ( with other candidates just watching!) but a MOCK
examination. You will go from room to room and take history, perform
appropriate physical examination and counsel according to case scenario.
Post Cases Feedback
The unique feature of our course is highly organized feed back
from SPs and very experienced instructors. You will have chance to discuss your
preformance individually with your instructors and improve your performance.
All our instructors are practicing, experienced
physicians from different clinical specialties. A comprehensive course manual will be
provided. During the discussion session, we will also provide informal advice about
getting into residency programs in the USA. You may also ask any questions regarding the
Step 2 CS.
Course Fee
Our course fee is $395, which includes tuition, practice with Sp's, study book (
E-Z way to Pass Stept 2CS by Tutor ) and lunch.
